Our story
The corner store idea, rebuilt for online
Retail Market Shop started with a simple frustration: buying everyday things online meant scrolling past hundreds of near-identical listings with unclear shipping and vague return rules.
So we built the opposite. A store with eight clear aisles and six well-chosen products in each. Every listing tells you exactly how it ships, how much shipping costs and how returns work. Payment goes through a secure emailed link, so we never hold your card number.
We run the store from 71 Saratoga Ave on Rochester's west side, and the products we choose reflect life here: lake-effect winters, older houses, muddy dog walks and long summer evenings by the lake.

What you can count on
Honest shelf prices
The price on the shelf tag is what you pay for the item. Shipping is shown in the cart and New York sales tax on your invoice.
Safer payments
No card numbers on our site. Pay through a secure link from our payment provider after you order.
Fewer, better products
We would rather stock six good things than sixty random ones. If something disappoints customers, it leaves the shelf.
Fast dispatch
Physical items leave our partner warehouse within one business day. Codes arrive by email, usually the same day.
Easy returns
30 days on unused items in the original packaging, with the refund back to your original payment method.

A good market is easy to walk. You know where the bread is, someone can answer a question and the specials are on a board by the door. Our aisles, daily market special and weekly flyer follow the same idea.
Every day one physical product is 12% off until midnight Eastern Time, and every Monday we put four products from different aisles on the flyer so you discover something new.
